Welcome

Eleni Markopoulos is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer and educator, currently based in the UK.

Her personal projects focus on human connections with nature and explorations of cultural heritage, examining themes of identity and belonging. Drawing inspiration from the early pioneers of pictorialism, her work seeks to elevate the everyday, capturing moments that evoke a quiet, timeless beauty.

She has exhibited her work in galleries across Bristol (Arnolfini Arts) and London (Copeland Gallery, Peckham), and contributed to online magazines (Earth Spirit; Lenscratch) and image galleries (Millenium Images, London).

She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Photography from UWE Bristol and a PGCE in Secondary Art & Design from Birmingham City University. A full CV is available here.
